A World of Inspiration: 2018 Campaign Launch Event
It was a night to remember as more than 300 community members joined us at our 2018 Campaign for Jewish Needs Launch Event to celebrate “Inspiration Around the World.” Four dynamic speakers wowed us with their stories about the work that is made possible with our community’s support of the Campaign.
Special thanks to Jewish Clevelanders Ben Becker, Kevin Margolis, and Rachel Heiser, with Danielle Katz – who came all the way from Cleveland’s sister city of Beit Shean, Israel – for sharing their personal, powerful stories about how our dollars are making a difference around the corner and across the globe. If you missed it, you can watch Danielle's speech below or visit our YouTube channel to watch all the videos.
Building on the success of last year’s Campaign, this year’s theme is “What Inspires You.” Whether it is feeding the hungry, comforting the sick, or caring for the elderly - whatever inspires you, it's happening here. "When I think about my own inspiration, I believe we find holiness every single day by being caring and compassionate, and by improving the lives of others. To me, that is what our Campaign is all about - caring for each other in Cleveland, Israel, and 70 countries around the globe," said General Campaign Chair David Adler.
Thank you to Rabbi Robert Nosanchuk for his inspiring invocation, and all of our speakers and guests who helped us kick off the 2018 Campaign – it’s going to be a great year!
