Giving Tuesday is December 1!

Jewish Federation of Cleveland, Local Partner Agencies Join Global #GivingTuesday Movement

CLEVELAND – The Jewish Federation of Cleveland has joined #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. Coinciding with Thanksgiving, the holiday shopping season, and the Federation’s 2016 Campaign for Jewish Needs, #GivingTuesday will inspire community members to take action to improve Cleveland’s Jewish and general communities. Together, on December 1, 2015, we will help create a better world.

On #GivingTuesday, the Federation and its local partner agencies will celebrate Jewish Cleveland pride and community solidarity. One gift to the Federation is a gift to the whole community and our Federation is the only Jewish organization that considers the needs of our community as a whole and plans for its future. One gift goes to 30 partner organizations, changing tens of thousands of lives in Cleveland, Israel and 70 countries around the globe. The Federation and its partners help the Jewish and general communities to leave nobody behind. Together, we feed the hungry, comfort the sick, care for the elderly, educate youth, ensure a Jewish future, speak out for what’s right, bridge cultural divides, and support Israel.
