The Cleveland Jewish Arts & Culture Lab kicks off its third year with a special community program exploring the theme, "Slavery and Freedom" in partnership with the Cleveland Museum of Art. Join us as we take a guided tour to examine works of art using Jewish sources and delve into concepts of "Slavery and Freedom."

The themes of slavery and freedom play a central role in the Biblical narratives of the Jewish people. They also are ideas that resonate universally with every human being. There is, perhaps, no greater freedom than the freeom to create through artistic expression.
