She advises high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and private companies on complex cross-border tax matters, including international income tax, inbound and outbound planning, pre-immigration and expatriation planning, foreign trusts, U.S. real estate investments, information reporting, and estate planning. Caryn has led sophisticated planning for global families and entrepreneurs, including billionaires, to mitigate U.S. tax exposure and optimize foreign tax credits. She is active in the ABA RPTE and Tax Sections, a published author on international tax topics, and holds a J.D. and an LL.M. in Taxation
