Ratzim Lezichram: Running in Their Memory

Description

Commemorate Yom Hazikaron in a new way this year. Join our shlicha (Israeli emissary), Li-or Gersht, and fellow young adults ages 22-45 as we run/walk in memory of fallen Israeli soldiers. This is the first year we’ve held this special 5K event, known as Ratzim Lezichram in Israel, in Cleveland. We're also the first community outside of Israel to host this event!

Each participant will receive a Ratzim Lezichram t-shirt and a bib that displays the name of the soldier they are honoring. Participants will receive a biography about the soldier they’re representing before the event. An IDF officer will join each of running location to share a personal reflection.

Families welcome.

Snacks and water will be provided.
Kosher dietary laws observed.

Location:
Runners can meet at our east side (outside the Mandel JCC), west side (Lakewood Park), or downtown (outside the West Side Market) locations.
Running path will be provided upon registration. Participants are encouraged to run or walk at their own pace.

$10/person
