"Remembrance in the Living Room"
Jewish Clevelanders in their 20s, 30s, and 40s are invited to have a personal conversation with a Holocaust survivor as part of our community’s commemoration of Israel’s Holocaust Memorial Day. Together, we will listen to their stories and engage in moving conversations about the importance of keeping the memory of the Holocaust alive.
Both virtual and in-person options available
In-person event
• Hosted in private homes across Cleveland
• Address will be provided upon registration.
• Masks will be required for all attendees

ABOUT ZIKARON BASALON: Translated literally into “remembrance in the living room” from Hebrew, Zikaron BaSalon is an annual event, which takes place on Israeli Holocaust Memorial Day. The idea was born from the understanding that the connection between us – third generation descendants of the Holocaust survivors – and the memories of the Holocaust, has significantly deteriorated. The event started eleven years ago in Israel but today has turned into a worldwide tradition with over 40 participating locations across the globe
